Reverence Story is the creation of Amy O’Brien - Chinese Herbalist, Acupuncturist, Birth Support Person and Motherhood Studies Practitioner.

I have undertaken 10 years of health based education.

I have 13 years clinical experience working in women’s health.

And the catalyst that poured rocket fuel onto my purpose in this work - the overlay of my own mothering / motherhood experience with my two delicious littles.

Reverence Story exists to Foster Maternal Thriving and Rewrite The Mother Story.
For the prevention, early intervention and recovery from maternal burnout and postnatal depletion.

To support maternal mental health and the construction of true mother wellbeing.

I offer completely tailored care that responds to your individual circumstances and needs. This is important as we each navigate unique challenges in these transitional years.

I offer support that is understanding of the time in which we are birthing and mothering in. This is a crucial component of care that is often lacking. My work opens up the role culture and society play in our health experiences and outcomes. Once we are aware of these cultural narratives, we can choose to challenge them - to hand back what was never ours and redefine the experience we are here for.

This multi-faceted approach creates lasting, powerful change that will continue to unfurl between and long after our sessions together.
